Iain Hogg is 25 years of age and was educated at the Glasgow School of art in a 4 year honours course in Graphic design. Through this time he was taught both traditional printing and design skills including the use of lead type, and digital design methods for print. After his graduation he joined “Do Good Advertising” on placement, since that time he has remained with them as a freelancer. More recently he has become a freelancer with Alan O'Hagan Advertising, and Smiths Design Solutions.
As a designer he believes that ideas are the key to any piece of good visual communication, and will always try to incorporate a concept where possible. We have a passion for photography, which has on many occasions spilled over into his work as a designer, especially on small budgets. He has known from an early age that Design was something that he wanted to do, and has always found himself pursuing interests which have been of benefit to his career. He enjoys his job immensely, and believes that's part of the secret of doing good work “you have to enjoy doing it”.
