Ruth Forsythe was born and raised in the divided community of Northern Ireland, but for most of her adult life she has lived and worked in other cultures. She spent two years in a rural community in the Republic of Ireland, then 13 years in Tanzania, East Africa. As a part of an ethnic minority she worked in community, education and church in a cross-cultural and multi-national setting providing training for leaders and teaching in an international secondary school. Ruth spent three years as an international student in Vancouver, Canada and now lives in Scotland. She offers training for those who are confronted with regular cross-cultural contact in their community and workplace.
