Investors in People are running a new programme called "The Improvement Programme" which is aimed at oranisations who are new to IIP.   This is a heavily subsidised programme offering great value for money.  The programme is around Improving your business and you are strongly encouraged to go for recognition, but it is not mandatory.

There are five key areas for improvement

Strategic Planning
Effective Managment
Culture and Communications
Developing People
Managing Performance

The programme is limited to the first 150 companies and they need to be signed up before the end of March 2008, but have until March 2009 to complete the programme.
