BUSINESS PLANNING for MANAGERS
Tuesday 16 March
9:30 – 4:30
Trainer: Stephen McQuillan
Who’s it for and What’s it about?
Managers make, implement and review plans. As an effective manager you will be familiar with business improvement theory, be skilled in using the appropriate tools and techniques, and solicit buy-in from the team or staff of your organisation.
Probably the most common business improvement tools, as a quick glance at IMP reports will attest, are the SWOT and PEST analyses. However, there is a huge range of other tools and techniques which you may be less familiar with but which could offer as much if not more assistance in your business planning.
This course is suitable for anyone with planning responsibilities who wants to expand their understanding of the planning processes and develop their planning skills.

*This workshop may include:
· Developing a business improvement strategy
· Engaging staff in the process

*This list is indicative and represents a typical outline. A pre-event questionnaire will enable the trainer to tailor the workshop to suit the specific needs of the delegates.
