Who’s it for and what’s it about?

This practical and interactive seminar will provide an opportunity to experience mediation in action and discuss the opportunities to be gained by achieving cost effective resolution of disputes in the housing arena.
The event is ideal of all those involved in managing disputes in housing, whether that’s internal staff disputes or, for those who become involved in neighbour disputes.

Course Content

The session will illustrate how mediation is conducted and the opportunities to be gained by using mediation to reach settlement. Attendees will also gain the opportunity to take part in practical mock mediation examples, apply mediation skills in a variety of contexts and share thoughts and ideas about when mediation might achieve the optimum outcome for the clients and their own organisation.
