Who’s it for and what’s it about?

This course is aimed at individuals who are new to factoring and wish to gain a solid grounding within property management. It is also aimed at those looking to accelerate their learning and understanding of the industry, key legislation and a factoring operation.

  • What and who are the key influencers in the property management industry in Scotland
  • What is the size of the property management industry in Scotland and who are customers of a factor
  • What is involved in delivering a factoring service in Scotland
  • What are titles and deeds and how are they used by a factor
  • What are the key pieces of legislation affecting factoring in Scotland
  • What internal documents does a factor need to have in place and how do these support those working in factoring with day-to-day service delivery
